My name is Colin Webster and on behalf of the staff and students of the High School I’d like to welcome you to the ICARDA International School of Aleppo.

The IISA High School is implementing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) in Grades 9 and 10 and the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in Grades 11 and 12. IISA runs a strong academic program with almost 100% of our 11th and 12th Graders registered for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. 

Students at IISA undertake a diverse and rigorous academic program that includes the sciences, the arts, physical education, technology, the humanities, mathematics, foreign languages and service learning. After school we have a wide range of sports programs and activities and take part in city-wide, country-wide, and regional sports leagues. In the spring students travel with their classmates on regional studies to better understand the region we live in.

In the IISA High School we focus on the ethic of caring, integrity, maintaining a balanced life and becoming critical thinkers. These values drive our curriculum, our teachers and our students.
